I've been gone. But I am back, again. For those of you that don't follow me on twitter, I have been in Beijing, China with my boys having the time of my life. It was definitely a trip I will NEVER forget and I came back feeling refreshed and ready to create. Beijing was everything I thought it would be and then some. The Great Wall was unreal and we even had some good Chinese food. Finally.

Here are a few of my favorite pics. Okay maybe more than a few. Enjoy!

Everyone thought our baby was a local. Something must have been in the water I drank there when I was pregnant :)

The Case of The Missing Colored Pencils!

In the midst of our move out of state/out of country (we just can't sit still!)my colored pencils/sewing machine/everything I use to create were accidently packed away and put in a pod and shipped off to who knows were instead of being mailed as I had stated in HUGE pink letters on the box! Oh well, life happens. I have slowly but surely been getting new supplies one thing at a time and am getting back to work! Vacation was much longer than I had intended for it to be.

Hey dolls,

I've started getting a lot of request from you guys asking me to show myself in things that I wear on an average day. I'd love to..but...since I have a teeny tiny baby right now, my wardrobe currently consist of things that aren't going to cause me to go into cardiac arrest if they get pooped on, spit on, slobbered on...etc. So until I start making an effort again.....I'll do the next best thing. I will start sharing some of my favorite pieces that I own.

Why do I love this bag so much?

2. It has these handy little pockets on the side to keep bottles from spilling inside :/

3. On more of a fashion note - I love this bag because it looks good with everything. The color of the checkers is so mysterious. When I wear olive green...they look olive green. When I wear gray...they look gray...when I wear blue.....You get what I'm saying?

I swear by this bag. And plan to continue using it for years to come...seriously. It never fails me.

Hair & Make up

I have received a ton of request for a post on what as I use in my hair and for make up....But I have put it off until now! To be completely honest.....most of the stuff I use it pretty regular and not all that interesting.

Lets start with my hair...I wash it with whatever is on sale at Walgreens, usually Pantene. Next I flat iron it with an Amika flat iron I got from a stand in the mall for about $60 bucks after lots of negotiating. lol. I am a loyal user of this flat iron. It is amazing. Last, if I feel like spicing it up a bit I just take a regular 1 inch curling iron and wrap my hair around the barrel. I don't use any product in my hair because I don't oil or greasiness.

Make up - I LOVE make up. I try not to pile it on but I do have a "few" products that I use faithfully everyday.

1. Bobby Brown Foundation Stick

2. Mac Studio Fix

3. Bobby Brown concealer

4. Almay liquid eyeliner

5. Whatever mascara is on sale

6. Mac eyeshadow "Brun" for my eyebrows

I have got so many emails about my eyebrows...so here is what I do....

I highlight underneath my eyebrows with a tiny bit of concealer, Take an angle brush (the angle brush is key!) , stroke it a few times in the Brun eyeshadow and follow my natural brow line. And that, my friends, is it. Nothing to exciting I know.

Nothing brightens up a face like some nice, clean, thick brows, real or fake.

I HATTTTE HATE HATE these kind of post....But I promised to show the good, bad, and the ugly. So I am keeping my word.

So it happened again. I totally lost my inspiration half way through a peice! UGHHHHH.

It started with the sketch...which I just was not feeling at all, Hence the uncolored dress. I figured I would just start working on the actual piece, Make some changes, and maybe I would fall in love with it. WRONG.

This too is unfinished. I don't know what happened....maybe I am maxi-ed out. Either way it sucks. I am going to re - create, re- sketch and re - sew the entire thing to get this taste out of my mouth!

Where do I even start??! I swear I am surrounded by some of THEE MOST talented people on earth....Which brings me to my buddy Mazel Higa. Like myself, Mazel has an extreme love for fabric except she's not making clothing...she expresses herself through the art of Jewelry making. Oh boy is she good at it. With each piece she creates, and every new collection she comes up with she never everrrr ceases to amaze me.

I decided to take a few of my favorite Mayzani Pieces and incorporate them into my sketch for my next piece...

So, I am super excited about this post because everyone who knows me knows that I LOVE LOVE LOVE to meet people and surround myself with people who are INSANELY PASSIONATE about what they do....

Which brings me to the Photographer who shot our maternity pics :) After a LONG late night google search, I finally found her! I was reluctant about even taking maternity pics....We've all see our share of "Cheesy Maternity" poses. So the hunt for an Amazing photographer was on..and one look at Michelle Lugo's website and I knew she was the one I wanted to take our pics.

Take a Break - Make a Skirt.

Its a very simple bubble skirt (these have become my best friend during pregnancy). Nothing too special but thats the beauty of this blog....you get to see it alllll :)

Me and My FAVORITE ladies. It meant the world to me that they were there.

And my mama and me. Can you believe she is going to be a grandma??? Hottest Grandma on the planet I tell ya!

Even though I have slowed down on the orders I take until after our little baby boy (yay) is here, I still want to share my work with all of you. I had my baby shower this past weekend and I wanted to create something comfortable but still classy and something that went with flats (these swollen sausage toes were not getting into any heels!) So I created a simple tank dress out of a fun print and added some black trim so I could pair it with a casual black blazer. This fabric doesn't have ANY stretch to it so covering my belly was a challenge but I was happy with the turn out. The baby shower was AMAZING and I was a happy woman!

Due to the MASSIVE amount of weight I have put on I have been feeling a little un-sexy. I decided to embrace my new body and create a tigher sexier design for myself to boost my spirits. I am happy with the way it turned out but its not my favorite piece but I wanted to share anyways....I like to show the Good, The bad, and the ugly :)

Hello There,

I've been getting tons of mail about my lack of updates and slow responses to emails. Forgive me. It's safe to say that I have experienced every single pregnancy side effect in the book and carrying around this 30 pound basketball under my shirt has finally caught up to me. I hate to say it but its probably only going to get worse as I am reaching the end of my pregnancy (happy dance) and I am becoming slower and slower each day. But bare with me, I will be back at it before you know it.

I have still been sketching/sewing/selling/designing etc but have failed to take pics lately. I have been in such a rush with everything I just make it, and ship it out. But ill work on that so you guys can see what I am up to :)

I've been into this "tiny girl - big shoes" thing lately and I'm loving it. Soft feminine clothes with statement shoes. This girl is kinda like my alter ego - I sketched her and fell in love with her yet she still remains nameless.
